Studies have shown that people who practice gratitude can end up feeling more optimistic, more positive about their lives, and just happier in general. This includes just journaling about gratitude, thinking about it intentionally, or writing a thank you letter to someone you’re grateful to. What’s more, expressing this type of gratitude can help you cope with stress better.
